Got my 2013

I just got my 2013 today, actually it showed up here yesterday but had to get the dealer to take care of a couple of things. From order date to arrival it was about 5 weeks. All I got to say is GOD THIS TRUCK IS NICE. Comeing from an 01 F150 with 155k on the odo to this is like night and day. Comeing from a 5.4 with a built trans, lt headers with cat back, intake and custom 93 tunes and 4:10 gears to the 6.2 with 3:73 not much bottom end loss but alot more top end. I was afraid of throtle lag from no throttle cable but you can hardly tell. I should have some pics up in a couple of days.

Thanks for the complaments, and yea its quick. I have not gotten in it all the way yet because it only has 88 miles on it. I will get some better pics tomorrow plus the requested head light pics (yes they are factory projectors) been busy at work and giving everyone test drives.

My likes so far are

1. The 6.2 is so nice, being able to lug 1,000 rpm up a hill and still acclerate is so cool.

2. Ford managed to make the whole Sync and My Ford Touch, radio, hvac, navagation cluster F relitively easy to use.

3. Being able to lock out gears when going slow so the trans is not hunting gears all the time is nice

4. The ride is very nice.

5. The torque converter lock schedules are about spot on.

My dislikes so far are

1. looking out the back window threw the rear view mirror is almost pointless because the back window seems smaller then my old truck and the rear head rests get in the way.

2. The trans shifts way to soon for my tastes, maybe its not as much of a problem with the 5.0 and EB guys but it is little annoying. It is litterly 3 seconds after I start going it shifts from first to second and by the time I am at 40 mph its in 6 gear and 1,000 rpm.

3. The big tow mirrors are a little annoying to look threw, the upper mirror is to small and the lower mirror is too big and sits to high on the mirror.

4. The touch screen is a little laggy

Other then that I love this truck, I have has it 2 days and have gotten a couple complaments all ready.

Did you remove the center head rest? It was off mine before I drove off the lot because with it in place the rear view mirror is worthless.

I like the silver in that body style. ANy dash pictures of the sync/nav,my touch you mentioned?

I just got a 2012 Crew Cab FX4 and I feel you on the rear window. I use my mirrors mostly anyways, but it takes some getting used to. With regard to the shifting too soon, if you will put it on tow/haul mode, it will keep you in the lower gears longer (rev to higher RPMs before upshifting).
