Snugtop XTR
Snugtop XTR
I am interested in purchasing one of these caps, but cannot find anywhere to get one! I found one place in MO that can ship me one for $600, but there is no way I can justify that when already dropping 2k for it. Anyone know of any places in the southeast that sell them? I am in Chattanooga, Tn. Thanks in advance.

Can't help you with a purchase location but I would recommend you think about getting the "Super Sport" model and have the dealer install a Yakima roof rack system instead of going with the permanent tubular type rack that the XTR has. I have this system on my F150 and it's the best of both worlds, easy to take off for low clearances, looks good with the cross bars and the system gives you tons of accessories to add such as storage baskets, bike racks, etc....
Either way, I've always purchased Snugtops and have always been happy with them. Worth the few extra bucks over the others. Also, on the Snugtop web site if you put in your zip code the site gives you a $100. coupon towards a purchase and I think Yakima is still offering free locks for it's rack systems.

These are the only two pictures I could find, sorry for the large size. If you want me to take a picture of a top view let me know, to dark outside right now. The two cross bars are movable on the rail system and come off easily if needed.

I ordered a Leer 100XR - getting it installed on Thursday. I would highly recommend getting the front fold-down window on whatever topper you go with. With a fold-down window, it allows you to clean the crud off the rear window of the truck and the front of the fold-down topper window.
I got the 100XR because I could get the 'windoors' to allow access into the bed from the sides of the truck. Only a couple models from each manufacturer offer a option for 'windoors'.

I am in KCMO and purchased my Snugtop Rebel from Potters Truck Covers in Independence. They gave me a great price and customer service. We love our Rebel with the side "win-doors" and front fold down slider. That way I can get to gear in front and the dogs get air. It looks like a factory top from the rear. the latch and glass are super nice. I think it was about 2,200. I got roof rails online for $60 bucks.
I had an ARE CX series before from Chux and I hated the cover and their service...
