After being quite concerned about more than a few posts about EB problems, I just said screw it and bought a '12. I was looking for a '13, but the deal on the '12 was insane and a build quality thing on the '13 I was looking at irked me a bit.
Anyway, I did take it for a good test drive, looking for all the issues I read about herein. Found none of them... good MPG was obtainable with careful pedal work.
My wife is in love with the truck. It's so damn quiet, the ride firm yet damped like all get out, and so much room inside, that our family digs this Ford product.
I read so much crap about SYNC, but it recognizes my voice with very few false positives and is very usable as an input technology. I am a huge fan of what Ford did with the electronics in this vehicle compared to the BMWs and VWs (late models) I own.
So far the EB is giving me 15MPG driving around town, with the Trip MPG stuck at 11.5 or so. I thought such MPG would upset me, but driving this thing is so fun, I hardly even notice the MPG. I think on the freeway I was able to get like 19-20 on the test drive at around 70mph.
We are in northern Cal, so our humidity and rain is typically pretty low, so I hope not to experience all the issues seen on this forum with the EB and heavy rain or high humidity conditions.
All in all very pleased. I do have one complaint and that is wtih the Sony sound system... the sound quality is a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 and I am being a bit generous. I am going to have all that upgraded asap. Also get some HIDs put in, which is why I wanted the '13.

You got a good truck, Ford has officially released a fix for the humidity problems as far as I know, took mine in this weekend to get the fix and so far*knock on wood* it's been great.
I'm seeing 14-15mpg around town, and seeing a consistent 19.5mpg on the highway doing 68mph.
