Digital Speed Readout?

I have searched through the menus on the gauge cluster in my 2012, but I can't seem to find it. Is there a way to get a digital speed readout? Right now I have it set the MPG, but the speedo would be sooo much better. My 5.0 seems to have a speeding problem...LOL!

There is no digital speed readout. One may be coming though, as i know that third parties can start making apps for mft for the 2013's. I'm not sure if that customization applies to the cluster info screen, but it would be nice to see ford allow for a bit of customization to your truck....

I'm guessing our "older" model trucks won't see new innovation.

I did some research once trying to find an aftermarket Heads Up Display (HUD) for my truck. I had HUD on an old Grand Prix I used to own years ago and I absolutely loved it. ...but I haven't found anything that I think is worth following up on.

This alone would have made it wothwhile for me to get my EDGE CS. I keep my display in 3 guage mode. I monitor speed, trans fluid temp and gear/torque converter lock. I live in Canada so my speedo is in kmh, but tow extensively in the US. The analog inner mph dial is cramped and hard to read accurately. The digital speedo and TFT readouts are awesome. Of course, the tunes are great too, but that's almpst secondary. BTW, the speedo (both digital and the cluster) are 100% accurate on stock tires as per my GPS.

Ever put the screen in 'engineering mode'? Press and hold the 'OK' button on the steering wheel and start the truck. Keep pressing the OK button to cycle through the different screens. Probably not what youre looking for, but it will give you a digital readout of speed, RPM etc...

I was just going to ask this same question. I brought home a 2012 a couple of weeks ago. In my 2005 F150 I use to have a cheat sheet that would show all the different buttons you could push to get all the unpublished screens to come up however I must of deleted that sheet when I sold the 05 a couple of years ago. in the 05 version it would show Speed and oil and water temp and one more that escapes me at the moment.
