Finally-2013 Website and Build and Price is up at Ford.com
Other than the Raptor, there wasn't one in '12, and I don't think there was one in '11 either.
Which is sad...I always thought that was a great truck for those that needed space inside, but could get by with a smaller bed, and still have a respectable-length truck. Didn't see that many though, which I'm sure is why it was cancelled.

Here is another stupid build issue I found that affects H.D. Payload customers.
No HID Headlamps if you select Lariat with H.D. Payload.
For some reason Ford does not want to sell the extras to people who want or need the Heavy-Duty Payload Package!

XLT regular cab 5.0 2wd is available.....with a 6.5' bed. RC are only available with 6.5' or 8' bed.
Rostra makes a kit for parking sensors and the rear camera. http://www.rostra.com I am not sure how it easy it is to install though.
Dear Ford,
Why did you remove reverse sensing system from the XLT with H.D. Payload?
On top of that, now you can't get the camera with the H.D. Payload!
You have these options bundled with a package that is not available on XLT with the H.D. Payload. Step down to an XLT without H.D. Payload, I get all kinds of features, but 500-600 lbs less payload.
I thought my next truck would have more options, not less.
Argggggggg.

I watched the video. It's not as good as the Ford system with the lines that mark the vehicle. It seems like a lot of ridiculousness, running wires and drilling holes for something that was installed at the factory on the 2012's. The original mirror is also destroyed in the process. What about the reverse sensors? Probably more of the same. The camera was supposed to be on all models by 2011...
From Ford:
Ford’s system will be offered on most of its full-size pickups, vans and crossovers – including the new 2011 Ford Explorer – with the added benefit of helping truck owners align and hitch trailers.
“The tendency with trucks is just to talk about the numbers, who has the most towing or the most payload,” said Doug Scott, Ford’s Pickup, SUV, and Commercial Vehicle Marketing Manager. “We lead in both of those areas, but equally important is that we’re making it easier to use that best in class capability. The Rear View Camera System makes hooking up to a trailer so much easier than it’s ever been before, so trucks and SUVs are the ideal vehicles for this feature.”

- Not anymore. You took it away. And you took out the reverse sensing on the truck that needed it the most XLT with H.D. Payload. Thank you for making it harder to reverse and harder to align and hitch trailers with your Heavy-Duty trucks.
edit: I'll also add that the aftermarket job is uglier and off-centered with the camera off to the side of the handle. It's not as nice as the one from Ford centered and built into the blue oval. Why remove the camera and reverse sensors from people who buy the Payload Package? Don't they need the payload package because they will be hooking up trailers? Shouldn't the longest truck have the sensors? SuperCab with 8' bed and SuperCrew with 6.5' are the two longest trucks.
HID and MFT I could understand as it is not a top model. But even the Lariat is missing the HID. I don't get it. Step up to the Super Duty and they don't have HID. Makes no sense that they don't want to sell these options to us.

To go a bit off topic, something that I think is really neat is the load leveling suspension on the 2013 Ram. Should make towing a lot easier, and it has a feature where it tells you if you are close to, at, or over your gvwr. I have concerns about the durability of an air suspension, and i will have a hard time trusting a Chryco product, but the features on the new ram will probably be enough to get me into the dealer to at least look at one when I go truck shopping next spring.
