My co worked noticed bubbles forming on my hood, just as the grill meets the metal. On the top of the hood. I had the same problem with my 2000 f150. Corrosion lifting the paint . Its an aluminum hood. Has anybody noticed this. Or take a careful look at this spot. I don't have any pictures. but could get one.

Without closeup pics, we cannot offer you any truly useful advice. I will tell you that aluminum oxidizes very differently than steel, so it's almost certainly not the same issue.

 

have you been keeping it waxed with a quality sealant?

I'll try to take a picture. its very small now. I do wax at least twice a year, meguiars wax, wash weekly.

 

If you have your OEM grill still on it, and there is no damage to the area via rock chips or collision, then the warranty should cover it. Should being the operative word. See your dealer.
