It's time for you to talk to a lawyer! I smell a class action lawsuit here!
I did contact an attorney (we have one available through my employer) Not to get rich but just to get my truck back. I went to the dealer on Sat to get my contract out of the glove box and my truck is not on the lot??? I called my service writer and he tells me my truck is fixed and he had one of his mechanics take it home for the weekend to test it??? Thanks for letting me know??.
I'm not a drama queen nor do I talk trash, I have nothing against Ford, I love my new EcoBoost, but the way the dealer is handling this is pitiful. I will not brodcast the name of the dealership because thats not how I am!

That's seriously messed up.... I'd be calling the mechanic and telling him to bring my truck.

I always, always set the trip odo to '0', then switch screens as not to call attention to it.

Wonder if the Tech smokes cigars while driving your ride???

Maybe he had a tailgate party to go to this weekend.

He might have to hook his trailer to it just to make sure there aren't any towing issues............

I'd find out where he lives, take the spare set of keys and take it from his driveway. He will crap himself when he thinks the truck was stolen.

Whoa, I'd be pissed. Nows the time to get the service writer and manager together to find out how they are going to get you a extended waranty. Thanks for the heads up on the dealer.

Is this sweet, but I would check the spark plugs first.

Well, third time back in the shop. This time I was up in Reading, PA for the races. Was at the track and needed to run to the store. After about 2 miles on back roads, doing 30-40mph. Came to a stop sign and was turning right. A car was coming, but was way down the road, plenty of time to pull out. I started to pull out, gas pedal not even 1/4 of the way down, and the truck fell on it's face again! The bad part is, it moved enough to get me in the road. Truck would not do more than 10mph! Car came up behind me blowing his horn and flipping me off. It was all I could do to get it about 1/4 mile down the road to a point where I could pull off. And of course the guy blows his horn at me again and flips me off on the way by. So, I turned the truck off, waited a minute, started it back up and drove away. Like nothing happened. As usual,,, no frickin codes. Take it back to the dealer. Explained all this to them and that I didn't appreciate the truck putting me in harms way and that it's a real safety issue. Anyways, they said there were no codes. They asked for permission for a mechanic to drive it home. I gave the ok, told them to keep it as long as it takes, but I want it fixed. So, after three days of them driving it, they finally call the Ford hotline. Ford tells them to test the coils. They said they picked up an intermittent misfire on cyl 1 & 4. They swapped 1 & 2 and 4 & 5 and tested again. They said 1 & 2 were fine, no misfires, but that 5 had a misfire, so that coil was bad. They replaced the coil that was originally on 4 and changed the plug. Said the plugged looked fouled. So when I go to pick it up, I asked, how can the coils on 1 & 2 clear up by swapping them? I know, possible bad connection, but still.... So, I asked if I have had so many problems with the truck, why wouldn't they go ahead and check all 6 plugs to see if they are burning differently. Could be a big clue. So, I take the truck in hopes that just maybe that was the problem. Three days later, I go to start it up in the morning and it was missing like crazy. The truck was shaking it was missing so bad. Looked at the tach and the needle was jumping back and forth about 300-400 rpm. They way these new guages are, they are not that sensitive, so you know it had to be running bad. Back to the dealer. They want me to drop it off at night and then come back to the dealer in the morning to start the truck up with the shop manager. This is ridiculous.
So, is the majority of problems people have been having with this all related to either bad coils or the condensation in the intercooler?

If it starts running like that again, I'd whip out the cell phone and start shooting video!

Show it to the dealer then post it to YOUTUBE, with a note to Ford asking for help.... Of course provide a link to the video to so they can see what's happening for themselves....

When they realize that's ONE - there's a problem and TWO a video of the problem is posted for all to see - I bet you get some attention real quick!

That sounds like a great idea! Youtube videos get a LOT of attention from the guilty party! I would suggest getting one of the small, cheap video cameras designed for vehicles and mounting it where it can get a good view of everything and then just letting it run anytime you use the truck. It'll capture the entire event sooner or later.

I have had a similar issue. Fell flat on its face while passing. But, I found if you rod on it a little more often you don't have the problem. I got in a bad habit of not stepping on my truck and just easing around cars, putting around town, and just general slow driving. Once I starting hammering down once in a while the problem disappeared. But, it sounds like you have a lot more going on then just some condensation and carbon build up like I think I had.
