Super Cab or SuperCrew???
I test drove a Supercab short bed XLT 4x4 with EB over at the dealer a couple weeks ago. Sticker on it was over 40k, it had a green tag on it for about 33.5k after incentives.
Definitely a lot shorter and more nimble than a Supercrew with long bed.......

i love my supercab fx2. friend of mine has the supercrew fx2 and mine is just as nice inside and out. it is nicer to have the 6.5ft bed also. but the supercrew has SO MUCH room in the back it makes your passengers very comfortable
I thought I would point out that they are the same overall size, that is with the most common super crews and the 5.5ft bed vs the super cab with the 6.5ft beds. The added interior space comes from having the shorter bed. The overall outside demensions are pretty much the same. If you think you need more room in the bed and back seat room is not as improtant the Super cabs are the way to go, you save a few bucks as well.
It is a shame they dont offer a Platinum Super cab, they still won't be offering it in 2013 either. But you can now get a 6.2L in a non Raptor Supercab for 2013.
I had a 2010 Raptor Super cab and had full size adults ride back there from time to time, I didn't think it was all that bad. Not a limo like seat in the back of a super crew but a lot more room then the old supercabs had back in the 80 and 90s.

I love my supercab. I wanted the extra space in the back, and I can ride folks there if needed, which is rare; however, I also wanted a 6.5' bed to put motorcycles in without hanging out. I understand that you can only get Crew cabs in 5.5ft beds now. The 145" wheel base is hard enough to get in these smaller and smaller parking spaces.
Quite frankly, that is why there are so many models... diferent strokes for different folks. It is all opinions based on what personal needs are.

That's true, I imagine he may not, have ever seen one since that 157 wb is somewhat of rare configuration, and Ford is the only mfg that even offers it. It is gaining in popularity though, the other mfgs are said to be adding that 6.5ft CC configuration to there lineups next year.
