It really shouldn't matter.

I can only guess the shorter driveshaft has something to do with it. I have also looked into getting a one piece driveshaft. That is still an option. Seems like it would be better for the installation of a supercharger anyway.....

I would have to agree that I don't trust the two piece driveshaft when it comes to adding that much more power.. But you will still need to figure out the rear end angle and pinion angle first!!

I have read online that this place great:

My truck is a 2012 RCSB. I can assure you it has a carrier bearing and a two piece shaft. My old truck that my dad now has is an 07' and has a one piece shaft.

Just another of Ford's better ideas I guess...Does not work. Very mild drivetrain shudder that gets worse when you have weight in the bed. Was also made worse by the installation of Ford Racing rear shackle kit. (it was removed after a week) I can only assume the genius engineers never drove one with anything in the back or towing. If the two-piece was supposed to improve NVH they went backwards. Never had an issue with the 07' with shackles and weight in the bed. Only saving grace is the motor runs very well. Surprising actually for a n/a motor after driving Lightnings for years....

5.0L? I wonder if you're torquing the transmission like the mustangs are having issues with.

I doubt that is the issue. The shudder happens under very light throttle on take off and zero throttle coasting up to stoplight under light braking. It can be felt during takeoff under good throttle pressure as you pass the target speed of 15-20 mph. Coasting to a stop with the trans in neutral it does not seem to happen. Bear in mind that unloaded it is very very mild. With the addition of shackles or weight in the bed it is noticeable to anyone riding in the truck as both a noise and a vibration.

My shudder only happened after I lowered it. Once I installed the CB relocation kit. All shudder is gone. It's been almost a month........It does't matter how I take off. There isn't a shudder. I think the CB relocation kit is critical with a lowered 09-12 F150......

Got it all done , but unable to post up pics. Even with the Carrier bearing kit installed I still had to use a 2.5 degree shim to get all the vibration out. Might have something to do with it being a tuned EB I quess.

Yes, the installation of the shim is required to eliminate all vibration!!

Correct the kit came with a 1/2 degree shims, but I had to buy 2.5 degree.

I have a 2012 fx2 5.0 crew cab with 5.5 bed

I would like to get my truck down LOW and ground force only shows their kit to be a 2/4. Im looking for a 3/5 or 4/6 drop.

thing i know i need
cb relocation bracket form gf
front stut kit form belltech

but on the rear can I get 5 inches using the gf springs and 2" hangers? or go with the flip kit?

Or am I completly off and need a better suggestion?
