Quick question - LEDs on a 2010 - resistors

So I know the truck needs resistors.

These resistors on V-LEDs site, state they are good at (4 bulbs per side)..so I imagine one set would be needed per side of the truck.

http://www.v-leds.com/Load-Resistors...-p8795268.html

Is that a correct assumption? If I recall their is one turn signal bulb and 2 brake/turn signal bulbs in the back. I figure one of these on each side say on the tail circuit should be fine..

What would one do about the high mount? Would something need to be done there?

Now on my 2001 Mustang GT...I converted all the bulbs over and just put in a modified flasher..(of course on the truck that wont work..we dont have a flasher). BUT..the Mustang is not resistored..so I get some funky things that go on with the digital odometer and cruise control..do to the LEDs. The Mustang is hardly driven..so its a moot issue to me..

As a matter of fact, these bulbs are actually coming off of the Mustang and being used on the truck. Time to say goodbye to the GT (damn housing market).

It actually easier to install at the point of use....for my fronts i made bulb harness extensions with the resistor installed so they could easily removed....i made one per side

Heres a pic

Where did you get the bulb harness extensions? Also what about your high mount? Did yuo do anything with that?

And I am right that its ONE resistor per side (meaning two for the whole truck)
Or is it one for each housing (four for entire vehicle)
or one for each bulb (meaning six for entire vehicle)

I made them>>>link>>> http://www.f150online.com/forums/ill...rness-mod.html

For the high mount i use a recon third brake light assembly.....

I was planning on using 4....1 for each light assembly....2 for the front and two for the back.....

Reason is the B.O.W. system recognizes each fixture as an individual entity....

I made the ones for the fronts out of parts and pieces that I ordered from various sources....there's a link to how made them in my last post....

A 6ohm on each housing (connected to ground and turn) still results in hyper flash. I think I need 3 ohm all the way around.
