Window vents

I want an in-channel vent that will work well with my 2012 Screw power windows.

Just a quick question as to which window vent have you had the best experience with?

I've got the Putco vents on my truck (in-channel), and they have work pretty well over 2 hot Mississippi summers. There is a weird spider-vein effect on the inside of them, but only visible from inside the cab, and there is no brittleness to the visors. Overall, I give em an A+

My Dad's '07 XLT has the Lund visors, and other than being a pain on the pass side window during installation, he says they have done awesome, as well.

I went away from in channel after 4 years. Over time they spread the window sealing area and create more road noise IMO. I am now running the new AVS modern flat sleek external series. I like them better. They are quieter and don't make my windows leak any air noise.

I agree with you, Apex. The reason I like the in-channels, though, is the fact that if they come loose after years on the vehicle, they usually won't rip any paint off with them (unless in a car wash, etc.). The vents on the outside that are glued on leave a residue, or take at least a little paint with them when they go.
