Tinted Brake Light - Thanks Brent!

Just wanted to post up a few pics of my newly installed tinted third brake light compliments of Brent (Lifted5.4Lariat). This was a great transaction. He sent me the light (unfortunately had to wait a few days to install it because truck was in the shop) and I just shipped my stock light back to him today. The light he sent me looked great. Very smooth finish. Very well packaged as well. You should check out the rest of his work on his website:

http://customtrucksolutions.webs.com/

I'm planning to purchase one of his painted emblems as well. Hard to resist the urge to do everything!

Anyway, here are the pics:

After:

Hope you like. Thanks again Brent!

How is the tinting done is it sprayed over the light? If so how will it last being outside in the summer and winter? If you don't mind how much did it cost? I really like the look of it.

How do you tint them? Black / Clearcoat mix?

Did either of y'all get answers to your questions? To my understanding, he tints then clears with a professional grade clear. Should hold up just fine. You would have to ask him or check his site for the cost. Sorry for the late responses.

Dang I never seen this. I basically just tint over the lights and then clear over them with an automotive grade clear. I have recently sold out most of my stock and all I have left for 09-12 is the two bottom tails. There is a link In my signature to those.

Thanks, Brent

So what are you using to tint the lights? VHT? What brand clear are you using? I'm interested in them. What is cost?
