Bedside 4x4 Decals
Bedside 4x4 Decals
Is there any difference between the 2011 and 2012 Decals?
As some of you know, my truck came with the Pale Adobe ones and I hate them.
From what I can tell on Tasca, the "4x4 Off Road" decals appear to come in 3 colors...
Pale Adobe
Ingot Silver
Sterling Gray
What did the Sterling Gray ones come on? I don't think I have seen them. Anyone have a picture?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure I saw a Ingot Silver Lariat F150 at the local dealership that had a darker gray 4x4 Off Road decal, Which I would assume is the sterling gray.. So maybe the ingot silver decal comes on the sterling gray truck..
I ordered my F150 XLT/XTR with the off road package but only ended up with the XTR4X4 decals on the rear of the box. Not sure why they did not include "off road" somewhere on there. On the build sheet it clearly states off road decals. Oh well.
Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not a big sticker guy, the only thing I know to do is use a ton of Windex and float them out like you do on glass. If there is a better or more appropriate way, I would like to know.
I've taken them completely off every F-150 I've owned and always thought it improved the look.

You should be able to wet apply if they are standard appliques. That means spraying them on the backside with water sliding them into position, and taking a stiff squeege (like used for bondo) and squeegeeing the water out from behind.
Ive been doing it long enough that small graphics like this I position with masking tape as a guide for placement, peel the backing off, hold one end up while I squeegee out the bubbles as I lay the graphic down.

Search online. Many better-looking aftermarket versions are available for much less.
I figured there would be. I'm not planning on buying them, but I was looking at prices incase I would buy a set for the truck if I needed to put them back on if I was selling it or something. Still, ridiculous price from Ford, its only a buck or two in material.
