2013 F-150 Limited Teaser
2013 F-150 Limited Teaser
Will debut on Tuesday...

"This teaser image is our first look at the most glamorous trim level yet of the 2013 Ford F-150. Ford will reveal the Limited trim level on Tuesday, but for now, we can make some educated guesses on its contents based on this image and previous updates to Ford trucks.
Ford promises us that the Limited will be the “most refined and luxurious” version of the F-150 to date, and it’s clear that this red leather will headline the interior upgrades. Ford recently refreshed the 2013 F-150 (pictured below) with changes like new front grilles, the introduction of the MyFord Touch infotainment system, and optional HID headlights. The FX4 trim level of the 2013 F-150 even paced a NASCAR race at Michigan International Speedway.
Before that, Ford showed off the Platinum trim level for the F-Series Super Duty. Billed as Ford’s most luxurious pickup ever, the Platinum models sport more chrome trim, a unique mesh chrome grille, 20-inch wheels, and special Pecan leather upholstery. All versions of the 2013 F-Series Super Duty also gain upgrades like the addition of MyFord Touch.
It stands to reason that the Ford F-150 Limited will receive many of the same upgrades as the Super Duty Platinum. In addition to the red leather and center-console badge previewed here, expect extra chrome cladding for the exterior, larger wheels, and possibly unique taillights and badges. It’s possible the Limited will be only a small improvement over the existing F-150 Platinum, which wears 20-inch polished-aluminum wheels, a satin-chrome front grille, chrome mirror caps, interior ambient lighting, and wood-grain dashboard accents. It’s also offered with the same Pecan leather that bowed in the F-Series Super Duty Platinum.
Stay tuned for full photos and information on the 2013 Ford F-150 Limited."

I have a feeling there will be more than just the leather. Ford is saying this will be THE MOST refined and luxurious F-150 yet! There has got to be more.

interesting, but i don't think i'd like that giant badge in the arm rest, seems to me like something that would get hot and burn the f out of my arm when i get in the car. Same reason I wasn't crazy about the HD edition...but i guess we'll see what else they got, i do like that leather though!
I don't see it as red leather, but more rusty red like a more red version of the King Ranch. I don't see red leather like a Corvette would sport.
The VIN plate on the armrest is fine. Like it better than the one on my F250 Harley. Mine looks like a cycle gas tank.
Ahhhh yes! Can we hit $60k (US) with this trim level? I'm still hoping for a Heavy Duty Payload Platinum or King Ranch. Guess that's called a Superduty. Too pricey for me. My current rig stickered at $63k in 2010. That's crazy for the first-time owner/buyer. OUCH!

Personally, Im not a fan of red leather. The KR leather is about as far as Id go. I cant wait to see the other changes.
Regardless of price, someone is going to buy it. I hope it sells well for Ford.

Most of you people who are newcomers to F150'w dont know this, but in the 80's an early 90's Ford had all sorts of interior color options, not just tan/gray. Red was a long time option, as was blue, black, etc.
Yeah I had 93 f250 with blue interior and I have a 91 ranger with blue interior. I know most don't like that but I love that. They need to bring back the red and blue interior options. I know its not for everyone but there are some people who love it. I know I would.
