NFAB step ?'s
NFAB step ?'s
I'm trying to pick out a set of side steps for my 2010 screw and really like the NFAB nerf step the best but when I see pictures of them on f-150's it looks like the hoop is really far forward to the point that it would make it hard to use when getting out of the truck. Those of you who have these steps what is your opinion?
theyre great when you can open the door all the way or 3/4 of the way. when in a tight parking spot etc and you have the door open just enough to slide in they are positioned kind of too far forward.
all that means is dont fit your truck in a tight spot where you can get door dinged easily and youll be fine. i had them on my old f150 and my dad has a set on his 2011 f150

I just put a set on mine and am getting used to them. For ease of entry/exit the regular tube bars would be better. With the nFab bars climbing in is best done in the same (or similar) way you would climb on a horse (for driver side that means left foot on the bar). When getting out, you do NOT have to exit backwards like a ladder, the step pad sticks out far enough that you can get the whole back half of your foot on it (about the same as a regular tube)... You just dont have as big of a target to shoot for b/c the pad is not as long as a standard step.
