6R80 Transmission Normal Temperature?

What is considered a "normal" operating temperature (fully warmed up and running) for the 6R80 tranny in the 2009-2012 trucks, under no-load - to - light-load conditions? I am seeing temps that max out in the 190*-195* range on the LCD "gauge mode" display, and the pointer is almost exactly in the center of the instrument cluster's tranny temp gauge.

I have a 2011 Screw Lariat with 6.2 Engine and I have not towed a lot yet, but running around locally my temps on a 100 degree are in range of what you are seeing. Yeah my gauge is centered too, but I think that is considered normal . I am anxious to hook up my 10,000 lb loaded Toy Hauler and head for the hills and see where transmission temps go.

I have a 2012 screw EB and it runs around 196. I towed 9000lbs and my temp never went over 201 and I pulled some mean hills at 65-70 no problem!

Most of Ford's guages are nothing more than idiot lights. They show three settings, off/low, on/normal, or too high.

That is exactly where mine runs at and when towing my camper it runs 197-204 degrees depending on the hills..

Thanks for the confirmations that what I am seeing is about "normal." I'm not used to thinking that such elevated transmission temps are considered OK...but I suppose that the special sauce, with it's 11 secret herbs and spices, that Ford is using these days in the F-150 tranny is made to withstand the rather high temps without breaking down.
