2012 price increase

I've been thinking about getting back into an F-150. I had a 201 KR and a 20065 Lariat. I think to get the F4x equipped the way i want I'll be ordering. I may be mistaken...but did the prices on the Ford site jump about $500 this weekend?

If it did, Ford may be easing the buyers mind into thinking the 2013's aren't going to be that much of an increase (compared to the "new" price of a '12). I believe you can order a '13 later this month, but it won't be built until at least August.

I dont see anything in the 2013 press release that makes me want to wait, hard to tell what new stuff will come with or even be available in the FX4. Frankly, I'd have been happier to see some new paint options than another layer of connectivity technology.

Not sure about the timing, but the sticker on mine was 41,980 and same truck now is 42,680. Bought mine back in February.

yes, they definitely went up... I did an online build a couple months ago (and printed it) and then did another one yesterday... same options, more money

January build info - FX4 SCREW base price $41,155
June build info - FX4 SCREW base price $41,880

same engine, bed size, etc.

I am going to have to go against the majority here and say...

Using the calculator to build the same truck I just bought came out to be $425 cheaper than my sticker was.

It is what it is...the current base on an FX4 Scab is $38,005. Older trucks on the lot have it at $37,480. Maybe yours goes back to before the package discounts. I'm looking at earlier this year vs today.
