tire question

Hi guys. Fathers day is coming up and i wanna buy my dad some wheels. i don't know if I'm gonna get him 18" or 20" rims yet. I'm not really worried about finding the rims yet, thats the easy part. What I'm having trouble with is finding the right tire. He has a stock 2011 xlt 4 door 2WD. He likes the All-Terrain tires and i was kinda looking at the BFGoodrich tires.

my question is would these tires fit the 20" rims without a lift?
also are there any tires you guys recommend that are similar to the ones i was looking at?

thanks for the help in advance.

my dad runs the bfg a/t on his truck and likes them. great for when he does go "off road" there is a drop in milage but road noise isnt an issue. he has a diesel and got about 40k out of them so i was happy. they dont have a super aggresive sidewall so as long as you dont get a tire way bigger than stock youll be fine. as far as similar tires go, people on here love the terra grapplers. i myself love toyos, but the toyo a/t doesnt look as aggressive as the bfg a/t

He will loose fuel economy if that is important you may want to look at Michelin A/T 2's. They maintain MPG...

If you stick with a 32 inch tall tire you'll be OK on a non-leveled 4x2. A 275x65x18 would work out good on the stock wheel's. Level the truck and you could go with a 33 inch tall tire like a 285x65x18. 20 inch tires are a good bit more expensive then the 18's so you may want to take that into consideration.

so i decided to go with the 275/65/18 BFGoodrich tire. $1100 after installation at discount tire. I might be picking up some chrome oem 18" wheels for 200 today.

I'm sure my dad will be happy he had just bought those exact same tires for his 05 a couple months before he sold it. and he seemed to really like them
