Just bought a 2012 Screw and couldn't even locate the jack. I read the manual and presto, have to remove the tray under the rear drivers side seat and loosen the two wing nuts then slide the jack towards the drivers side and out. Glad I found it before I got a flat.
Good tip's on lubing up the lock ect, Thanks....

I like that idea!

Now should I go for the jokes that idea suggests?

Talking

Murphy who ?? Getting new tires at the dealer I got my key and removed the plug. Then I couldn't get the key out of the plug .I worked at it , added oil and worked some more .Nope ! I gave it to the mechanic and he worked and worked it, WD-40 , oil ,turn , wiggle ,wiggle and finally he got the key out !! Well that's another reason I carry a spare key !!

I asked the salesman what it was before I even took the truck home.
But have the owners manual sitting in front of me now at work.
It does come it handy now and then.

My jack is wrapped in an oily rag inside a plastic bag carried on top of my spare.

It was last time I checked.
