HELP trans dipstick

HELP trans dipstick

Guys I was checking the fluid in my 2012 f150 and the dipstick don't have a LOW-FULL MARK, It has (b) and (a) on it what is full??

It does, but is not easy to get to. It is a small dipstick on the passenger side of the transmission near the cat under a screw on cover. It would be interesting to say the least, trying to get to it, especially when hot.

Your right.. I contacted Ford anf they told me. It is the 7 truck that we bought and ALL of them where LOW from the factory almost a 1/2 quart.

This is a guess and only a guess, but the marking closest to the tip would be cold and the higher one hot.

As for 7 trucks that are low on fluids, I am on my 9th F150 and have never had one that any fluid was low. Don't know why all yours seem to be the other way.

Did you check the fluid in the 09 up trucks and they where onthe full mark? I ask a company in our town that bought over 20 trucks from ford they where 2010 truck and 11 where low on ATF and Transfur case fluid?

On my 09, yes. I have to wonder how they were checking it and if they were doing it right.
