Yeah I've seen that. I was talking about like a installation kit. Ive seen in the mustang forums you have to buy a installation kit to make were all the hoe's hook up correctly. I was just curious if this is true or not for the f150.

Also do you like the boss kit?

Just email Mike@5startuning.com. Not sure if you want to do the whole kit (Boss, CAI, and Tuner), but I suggest if you buy the Boss that you get the Tuner as well. I ordered the aFe CAI and Tuner a while back and just installed the Boss 302 about two weeks ago. Along with the Boss intake I had to purchase the installation kit which came with a new CAI pipe and all the extra hoses and clamps for a complete installation. Like I said, just contact Mike, top notch customer service and he will tell you exatly what you need for what you are after.

Its awesome. Alot better with long tubes now. If I really get into it, it will squeal tires through first and chirp at the 1-2 shift.
I would do it again.

How is your shift into second gear. Mine REALLY grabs hard! Not like a bad shift, it is a smooth shift but just a real grabber that jerks you back into the seat. Just wondering if yours is shifting that way or if I need to call Mike and see if I need to tame down that shift pressure a little.

I had him give me 1 tune with and 1 without transmission tuning. The one with would just hang in 3rd gear down residential streets and I didn't want to be the jerk with the loud exhaust all the time. So I usually run the one without transmission tuning. So I don't know the answer to your question.

jswd60, you have a the intake/exhaust setup I am looking to do. Do you have pictures of the BOSS and Stainless headers? Did you do both of them at the same time? When you installed them, what issues did you run into?

I have a 2011 FX4 5.0L that I am planning on lifting 6" and slapping on 37's. I will have to re-gear to 4.56. Since you are not running such thick meats, will the difference still cause jerking?

I did boss intake myself. It took some time. Make sure to drain coolant or you could make a mess like I did.
I did headers later. I paid to have them installed. It took a full day for the guy at the shop.

I don't know if there are gears available for 11 and up yet.

If you buy from 5star tuning all hoses are modified.
