Looking at wheels.....

Sooo tired of the black wheels, every honda civic around here has them. Same with the 6-8 spoke wheels, everyone has a variation of that theme. Looking at a set of Centerline Smoothies http://centerlinewheels.com/wheel_deals_list.php Click on "Buy online" then select vehicle and scroll down.

Is there a site somewhere that I can "view" them on my truck? Tire rack has the feature, but nothing for smoothies.

The link didn't work, but I Googled those wheels. I agree that most aftermarket wheels look the same to me. They're either ghetto-bling or bro-dozer style.

I think I see where you're trying to go with the truck, but those wheels will easily be filed under ghetto-bling.

My theory as to why people opt for aftermarket wheels is so they can stick out. But what people don't often realize is that they stick out because it clashes. You want something that compliments your truck.

Either way, good luck!

My truck is an XLT with the chrome pkg. and the plastic clad chrome wheels. In my opinion, they look cheap. The truck is Sterling Grey and a SCrew, any suggestions? I'm open to all.

What about a different set of factory wheels? You should be able to pick some from a FX4, KR or Platinum on ebay or somewhere else for less than buying a new set.

And those do? those wheels would work on a car from the 50's era, not on a modern truck.

Don't know, but I have always liked the salt flat streamliner look.

So I guess you want something chrome or silver that will tie in with all the chrome already on your truck? If so what are you looking for? A clean look or a wheel with a but of a lip? I think that the chrome XD Monsters are a very good looking wheel and not too many people have them as opposed to the black ones. Do you plan on leveling, lowering or lifting? And what size? 18?

Size 18" something simple, not a typical 5-8 spoke like everything I see out there. XD's are for 4wd, I have 2wd.

I asked the popular middle school girls how they thought the smoothies would look on an F150. They said "seriously dude those are so gross."

There's no difference in 4WD and 2WD as far as wheels and tires go. I put big mud tires on all my trucks regardless of whether it's 2 or 4WD. I don't need 4Wd, I dont use it but I like the look. Some of the most awesome trucks in the world are 2WD, like alot of baja trucks. .... Are you Lifting, lowering or leaving it stock? If you would provide that information, the guys on here could help you out much better.

It will remain stock for now, but possibly get lowered (some) later. Will use stock sized 18" tires. I just spent 3 hours looking at wheels, now they are beginning to all look the same.
