295/55R20 Trail Grappler without leveling kit

I'm asking this for a friend.

He want to put new wheel on his FX4. Either 20x8.5 with 5.5'' of backspacing or 20x9 with 4.8'' of backspacing.

He would like to go with Nitto Trail Grappler in the 295/55R20 size but doesn't want to put a leveling kit.

Will he have any problem with one of these setup?

stick w/ 5.5" backspacing.

That tires pretty small (32.8/11.6), but the 4.8" backspacing will kick the wheel out i have a feeling to far and cause rubbing. 5.5" is closer to stock.

Nitto say 32.91x12.52 for the Trail Grappler 295/55R20

It's the width that scare me the most. Stock he have the 20x8.5 with +44mm offset (6.5'' backspacing). So with a 5.5'' backspacing he should be fine?

No fender trimming or rubbing?

I'm not gonna guarantee that, but for the options you gave it's going to be the best possibility w/ minimal to no rubbing.

THe back of my wheels have 20x7.5" stamped on them........
The 04-08 20's were 8.5" wide though.

Oh didn't know that. I tried to search the wheel spec and all i found was 20x8.5 with +44mm offset.

What's the stock offset/backspace? Is it still +44mm?
