Intake systems/Airaid intake system

I'm looking for an air intake system for my 2012 ecoboost, any suggestions? I hear things about this airaid? Anyone else have any suggestions?

If you do, please include brand, price, and where I can get one so i can check them out.

Thanks.

WTF are you doing?

You already posted this EXACT question yesterday: https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...ke-system.html

Desist - it's against the rules, and not at all cool.

For the record - look elsewhere for mods - an intake won't do anything for you but alter the look. Yer truck already has an excellent CAI - the STOCK one. It's SAFE, EFFECTIVE and you already PAID for it.

WTF was I thinking? Well, we lost power yesterday when I was submitting the thread, and stupid me, I didn't think it went through. So, I entered it this morning, because I didn't notice that it had already been submitted, just catastrophic, what a bonehead move.

As for the mods, I glad we have you in the forum, an obvious 2012 Ford Ecoboost Modifications Expert. I bet those thousands of people out there feel pretty foolish knowing that they purchased an intake (which they thought would increase performance) that will do absolutely nothing for their trucks but alter the look, zero performance gains. I can’t believe that Companies like Airraid and the others didn’t check with you before building and selling their products. I guess that all the whoop’lah about an engine having better air flow increases performance is just plain old B.S.

Once again, I’m glad we have a resident 2012 Ford Ecoboost Expert in the house, I’ll be sure and check with you on all my future modications.

You guys are mistaken when you say an intake does not improve performance on the ecoboost. It has been proven on the dyno and on the track, again & again. Intakes provide a much more noticeable benefit on turbo engines.

As far as what will work for you, Airaid, AFE and Injen all have a system that works with the 2012 updated intake sensor.
