Easy entry [On] Off

When the easy entry is set "on" is the driver seat suppose to retract all the way back as far as is physically possible or does it go back about 3/4 of the distance only?

I think it goes all the way back, I turned mine off, got kind bothersome for me. And couldn't be good doing it all the time? Just my thoughts.
