Sat. antenna extension

My '10 FX4 came with the oem base radio that had built in Sirius. But I now have an aftermarket multimedia system and it doesn't have sat radio so I'm going to install this:

I need to extend the factory sat antenna to reach and would like to know if this will fit (see link below) the factory antenna end on one side and the other side to fit the SV1 Sirius radio in above link:

thx

The factory antenna uses a stock Sirius antenna connection in a plastic housing/clip, if you remove the plastic housing it will fit any antenna extension that works with Sirius.

Gipraw,
Thanks, that's good to hear.

Now my next question is in regards to the these SMB cable end connections. I want to order the cable with the correct ends I need so first I would like confirmation that the following are the right connector ends to choose from:

http://szwholesale.com/ebay/3/NOV-09...na/GPS-SMB.jpg

I'm thinking connector #1 will plug into the oem end that has the plastic housing (think it's called a Fakra) and connector #3 will plug into the new sat radio and a coax cable in between these connectors.

Am I on the right track here?

I don't have any idea on the cable type.
