I got my retrofit done...took a quick pic of it.... The blinker area reflector was painted black. the main reflector was left chrome ( there was a reason for this...not telling why yet :-) ) The Lens shroud was painted black, as well as a light coat over the side orange parking light.

In my neck of the woods you would be pulled over withing a week after painting the orange reflectors...... they frown on it pretty seriously. As for the blinkers, I eliminated the orange by replacing the orange bulbs with chrome bulbs that light up orange. Do you have a better close-up pic of one on the lights to show what you did exactly?

 

Looks great. If I can't get the truck sold it'll definitely be one of my next mods.

Was the reflector left chrome for led's in the shroud?

 

The light on the side orange reflector still shines through the black paint. I'm also considing putting Amber LEDs in the front section of my Bushwacker flares..kind of how the Raptor has them on the outer bumper area....im still debating.

Yeah...i RGB LEDs behind the shroud, so i can have any color i want, and when offroading i can have so many blinkiing choices of the LED's
