Well at least dream about buying!
...lol...thanks for the compliment!

I sell them privately; I almost always use eBay but end up selling off auction more than not. I typically get all my costs back (including my accessories), and sometimes I don't recoup TTL, and sometimes I let it go within reason if I have something I just want to move on with (like saving some investments). Sometimes, I actually make more than I have in them with the right buyer. For example, a Pro-Hockey player bought my '08 F250 FX4 Powerstroke at my full asking price (which was way more than I had in it) because it was exactly what he was looking for and price was good for him.

Thanks Milt. Yes, always good to know you're not the only insane person on the block!

I for one probably could not sell my trucks as fast as I do if I didn't mod them, and have fun in the process!

Definitively go with black, the red is a little distracting. Takes away from a great looking truck.

Truck looks good. Nice to have some company in the lifted Platinum club. I also think the Platinum wheels would look great, maybe on your next truck.

Thanks Dog'em.

I had some Dupont Automotive Paint aerosol cans made up today with my paint code to try some PTM on the wheel rings. My hope is that the PTM will tone it down a notch and really tie in with the truck. If not, I can always insert the chrome or black ones.

Thanks DeereGeff!! Can't tell you how much I admired yours and really had me thinking about going with a full suspension lift but in the end I decided that just wouldn't work for my business use. I kept my Platinum wheels because I still may want to try them although I know the factory offset won't work with the tires (will rub on the UCAs). Anyway, I will see how well folks like the Moto Metals I put on before I decide.

Looks great! Just not sure how I feel about the wheels.

I've had my truck for a little over a year and a half and I still haven't gotten it to where I want it. I do love how you've had THIS one for a week and a half and it looks great. Wanna trade jobs for a week?

Desert Dawg, the comments on your frequent upgrading makes me snicker. I used to be the base of those types of comments and ones like "I wish I had your money". I traded about every 8-12 months, although I didnt mod mine out.

I eat, breath, and $h1t trucks, and always say "I'm loving this rig... I think I'll keep it awhile", but I never do. There is always something out there better. Not to outdo, just for fun.

I like you take the chances you do. I think now I'd be afraid I'd eat every penny of the upgrades on a sale. Of course, your low mileage trucks make the sale easier. Mine always had 55k to 65k on them.

Now with this perfect predriven
2010 Harley F250 I found, I'm getting the bug to "change" it a bit. Well see.

Thanks for the eye candy. You fo such a nice job. KEEP THE RED WHEELS!

Thanks MTM; yeah, definitely getting mixed reviews on the wheels. It's been interesting as folks who see the truck in person have absolutely positive comments while in the forums it has been more like 60/40 in favor.

Thanks. I really am hoping I can find some time to paint them soon as I really think they'll look much better.

Thanks again Smokewagun. I totally get what you mean as I take a lot of ribbing about my trucks and cars not just on the forums but also at home and at work (deservedly so). However, I always do it within my own constraints so when higher priority needs arise my vehicles are the first to go. But until then, I enjoy them!

Thanks FLA...it was too windy this weekend as I wanted to start my PTM for the Candy Red. Guess it will have to wait.
