I know I am not on the right thread, but got no hits on the right one. So I would like to know, is there a way to turn on the instrument cluster lights to stay on all the time? My 2011 F150 has them on on all the time even without the headlights on.

 

There is a light sensor on the dash. If I recall correctly, the left side of the sensor regulates the headlights and the right side the dash lights. You could try covering the right side of the sensor with black tape and see if it "tricks" the sensor into illuminating your dash lights. Good luck...I got nothing else.
