2011 F150 Supercab Backseat/Headwrest Question

Hey All,

This may be a stupid question - but bare with me. I pulled the headwrests off the rear seat, it took some time and I had to wiggle them but they came off. I did this because I put seat covers in my truck, however because of the wierd angle and the way the seat doesn't fold down, i can't put the headwrests back on, I don't want to force anything. They aren't sliding in because its an akward angle, any tips? I'm guessing I have to remove the rear seat somehow to get these back on...

Any info appreciated.

I took mine off as soon as I got the truck home but have never tried putting them back in.
If it takes removing the seat they never will go back on!
Me I'd try to use a little muscle and sneak em on just like they came out....

I'm unsure about the Scab but on my Screw there are seat release pins behind the headrest mounts. You have to look good and then I used an open end wrench to reach down and pull the pin up while putting a little pressure back on the seat, then they fold right forward. Hope yours are the same .

What headrests?

I took mine out over a year ago, and put them in the attic. It is amazing how much better you can see out the back window. Yes, even with mirrors, and a back up camera, I still like to see out the window. Novel concept. Mine won't go back until I trade it in...

I have the SCREW, but could put them back in if I want. Even without folding the back seat down, it just takes elbow grease. They will snugly rub against the headliner, and you have to wiggle them down.
