Question Power Fold Mirrors Clicking

Hi All, when my mirrors are folded in after I hit the unlock button on the transmitter the drivers side mirror makes a clicking noise like it's trying to move the glass or something. It soes it for a few seconds and then stops or I hit the mirror button to open them up. Any ideas whats going on? I only have 1600 miles on the truck but it's done it since day one.

Take it in. They need to replace the entire mirror assembly

Warranty, use it!

PS: Complete mirrors aren't cheap. I paid $370 for the power, heated, folding mirrors plus $25 to paint the skull cap. This was for the passenger side, too! I think they want an additional $100-$150 for the blind spot mirror for the drivers side!

Its a design flaw mine does it too. It only happens if you are tall and position your mirror in a certain spot it. The mirror ties to move to your preset spot but it cant because hits the frame when folded. Let us know if you bring it in how you make out. I only have 2000 miles on my truck and did not want to bother with bringing it in when there is no fix, figurd it wasnt woth the effort.
