Blocks with Bilstien 5100s

Hey guys, I have a 2010 screw 4x4 with stock sized Cooper AT3s on 18" rims. The front shocks are set at max lift. I also have a camper shell on the back and the truck looks a bit low in the back. We often carry a load of 400lbs or so in the back of the truck, so then it sags even a bit more.

My question is this, are you guys running 2 or 3" blocks? Is anyone running shackles instead?

I would love to see photos with this setup, especially if you have a camper shell on the back. It really changes the way the truck looks and I am trying to get a little more of an upright look.

Thanks,
Shane

Stock is ~1 5/8" IIRC, i'd run either a 2.5" block or a 1" lift shackle.

3" block IMO raises the rear just a hair higher than needed for the perfect stance, but having a shell on the top it might sit perfect.

You can always go the AAL route, but if you just haul a 400lb load occasionally then i'd rule this option out.

go to the link in my sig and click on the leveled truck pics. should give you an idea of what set up you should go with. specs on all the trucks are listed.

I've read that link a lot and certainly appreciate you putting all that together. I am hoping there are some other camper guys here who might have some photos. It's amazing how different they make the trucks look, not just because of the weight, but the stance of the truck.

And yeah, the AAL are not an option for me. I am unwilling to give up ride and don't need the extra capacity.

I would prefer the shackles (just have always used them) but I don't think that 1" is enough and they seem to be hard to find much longer (at least with the stock hanger)

Where can you buy a 2 or 2.5" block?
