Leveled Truck

Some may not like but instead of lifting front to level, i decided to lower the back. Figured since it is an FX2 Sport that this would give it more of a sport look.

Before lowering:

After lowering:

Back is still 1/2" taller than front.

Very nice! It would probably look even better without the nerf bars.

Personally for an FX2 I think you went the right way. Looks awesome and gives a little more of a sportier stance for a 2WD without that "slammed" look. I have a XLT 4X4 and went the other way. To me it gives the 4WD the look it needs in the front the way the rear gives it the look in a 2WD.

Thanks all. I know most want to lift but i find the ride quality tends to suffer some and it is a 2WD not 4WD. The ride now actually feels smoother than factory.

Looks really good! What did you use and do you think you would lose any towing capacity?

Walterw1, i used the BellTech Shackle kit.

I still have a 1/2" rake but it is not noticeable. I find the ride is a lot smoother, plus know someone that has the same a pulls a small camper and no sagging.
