Does ******* make a X2000 for the 2009+ F150s? I can't find many websites that sell it. Anyone?

Just an FYI, when I picked up my Undercover Classic two weeks ago they were talking about the SE's being backed up around a month. Not sure if that's changed or affects different geographic regions.

Appreciate the responses. I'm not ready to purchase so hopefully by the time I am ready they aren't backordered. Still waiting to hear back from my painter to find out how much he'll charge to paint it. I'm leaning towards the Undercover SE vs the ******* 2000 as $1,500 for a lid is a little steep. Does that include painting? The way the description is makes it seem as if it does. I wonder if I can purchase without it being painted.

I picked up an OEM factory lid for my 2010, and it is remarkably light. I,m not sure what the exact weight is, but me and a 5'5 lightweight lady easily lifted it and placed it on the bed of my levelled truck. Look around for a used factory unit, you will be stunned by how light they are.

Doesn't ARE or LEER make the OEM lid?

I'm pretty set on the Undercover SE or possibly the ******* X2000 lid. Really leaning towards the Undercover SE though.

The OEM cover is made by Penda Corp. The OEM cover is a line they make specifically for FOMOCO, and will not sell to anyone but a dealer. I picked up mine for a song at 300$ from some guy on Craigslist. It needs painting, but I am in that line of work.

BTW, I can for see a little ribbing coming your way if you start telling folks you have a ******* on your truck.

I already thought about that but the logo is removable so I don't really care. I am leaning towards the Undercover SE because the "styling lines" are growing on me and seems like the reviews are more favorable for the Undercover despite the cost being cheaper. Do you have a picture of the OEM cover? I'm not sure I have seen it before.

NastyFX4, this is my second Undercover and they are built very nice plus the convience of taking it off when need be by yourself. Mine is not PTM since i thought it would look better on my truck with the black trim that is on my FX2 with Ingot Silver. Here is a pic and the fit is also nice. Paid $650 out the door.

This is my personal opinion but Undercover really needs to make the Classic paintable. No offense but I hate the Design of the SE those lines just don't fit the F-150 in my eyes but look good on the Dodge. Sometimes I wish I was lucky enough to receive a call from one of these companies for my input b/c I truly believe I have good taste
