I traded in my 2006 F150 ext cab 4x4 XLT 5.4 in on a 2009 F150 ext cab 4x4 XLT 5.4. What a difference in the ride!!! Very smooth. I also love the power rear slider, tail gate step and SYNC. The previous owner has a folding hard top tonneau cover.

My father, who just bought a 2010 Silverado last year, wants to trade trucks. I told him no way. He wishes Chevy had the tailgate step.

The interior seems a bit busy. I've got black, two shades of grey and then some tan sections to match the seats.

It looks to be almost a candy red in good light. It came with a Fold a Cover tonneau. Just priced them on the Web and they are like $800. Glad someone else bought it and put it on there!

Congrats, I bought my truck off the lot and it was loaded. If I was going to order it I wouldnt have got the tailgate step or the bed extender and now that I have them I use them all the time.

NIce truck, buy why would the ride be any different than the 06?

 

Diffrent generation, for the current generation (09-present) ford did a lot of changes for ride comfort, so now the ride is much smoother then previously my only gripe is that now the truck really sags when you hook up a trailer vs previously but it has the travel to deal with it still so still works out the same when towing (just more raising and lowering of the trailer)
