Manual transmission

Have we seen the end of the manual transmission in the f-150? Can't seem to find it on their site in a v8

I think in the 04-08 you could only get it in a v6. And people were saying in the 09+ they were going to do away with it. I dont know if thats true.

yep, even the Super Duty line has got rid of them. The same goes for the other 2 manufactures also (gm & ram). Although , I think ram still has a manual in their 3500, but that may also be gone... too lazy to check and really don't care about ram anyway

its gone. Most likely due to demand and the cost of keeping that line or process open wasnt open to the 1 in every 1000 request they might get.

Ford killed the standard behind a V8 with the 2003 4.6, and the standard V6 was last seen in the 08 with the 4.2.

Glad my grandparents got one 2008 Rab/6.5 2wd XL with 3.73 LS

06 Screw, 07 Scab, 08 Rab

Never cared for the Manual tranny in the '04-'08s, but they added so many power features to my '08 STX when I would've settled for less power and a 3.73 LS, or even a 3.55 LS

I wouldn't want a manual either. LA traffic would cause some major leg cramps on the clutch foot.
