Tinted Tails installed.....

Got my tinted tail lights and high mount installed this week. They are a little darker than I expected, but very happy with the way they turned out.

Thanks for the great job Brent! Lifted5.4Lariat

I'm not normally a fan of tinted tails but those look good with the dark blue!

They make the truck look so much better, just not worth getting tickets by me.

Tickets shouldn't be a problem. As long as the reflectors are still visible and the light is visible youre fine. It takes them being blacked out (4-5 coats) to have problems. 99% of the lights I sell are 2-3 coats and have a deep maroon look.

I dont know if it is possible, but could you possibly have sprayed a tint on that had a blue (closer to his trucks color) over the tails and 3rd brake light? I am guessing that it may make the brake lights look purple but just curious if it is possible to tint the lenses a little differently. It looks good on his truck, I just wonder if they had a hint of navy blue to them, if they wouldnt look even better.

Currently there is not a transparent blue paint.. I can ptm the outer lip to the trucks color though. The stuff I use isn't black paint, but rather a transparent paint that lets light shine through.

Looks great. Tinting the chrome bezzel tails makes them look like totally different lights, and that's a good thing. Nice job Brent.
