2011 5.0 fx4 NEW ROUSH INTAKE!
since when is the 4.6 a boosted motor?
Don't get me wrong, CAI's are good if you are looking to squeeze ever possible HP out of the truck, but the pro's don't outweigh the cons on a motor with a turbo until you making much more HP than stock.
I added one to my 4.6 2v and other than sound it was a complete waste of money.

Check out Airaids CAI for the EB. It has 20hp/39lb-ft dyno proven numbers. It looks exactly like the Roush... probally made by the same company.
autoanything is offering an additional $20 off right now. You can get it OTD for $230

Roush cais are rebadged airraids
sorry about the threadjack, just wanted to help out a fellow EB'er, but Airaid also says it will fit the 5.0L.... They are identical. I wonder if Roush just has K&N (airaid) make them, then jack up the price for the Roush stickers?????

15 rwhp isn't worth it for some people but for others it is. In the end that's all it comes down to. Also depends on how you're using the vehicle as well.
LOL, exactly the name of the game.
I did a test on my dads 08 5.4 and a friend 08 5.4 (identical trucks minus a moon roof)
My dad had a gryphon, IIRC PHP claimed 20-25 hp at the wheels.
My friend put a air raid intake which claimed around 20 as well.
From a stop light my dads truck pulled 2 lengths by 50 mph.
both claim similar hp gains, but only one really improved performance noticeably.
I'm not speaking in terms of mfg hp claims. I'm talking real world dyno gains. More importantly I really don't think we can compare a custom programmer and cold air intake to equating the same type of performance gains.. Of course a truck with a custom programmer is going to win.. A cold air intake isn't going to change shift points, rev limiter, etc. I'll never run a cold air intake without a tune for it so it doesn't mean much to me. I'll never run a cold air intake that does not increase the MAF housing size because that's where the gains are otherwise IMO it's not worth the money. At the end of the day everyone is going to spend their money how they want to.
You can't say nNot worth the money
Everyone has different amount of money and there on preferences ...
My buddy has 5.0 same as me and got the k and n cone set up and it dosnt even compare to my roush intake ..
Mines so much louder and deeper sounding
And what's the difference 150 cash ? U kidding ha not much for an actual nice intake with noticeable differences
