Nice job on the new rig Japp! Looks a lot better without the stripe and the 3-inch leveling setup looks perfect. I may have to rethink mine as I was toying with the idea of going from my 2-inch to a 4-inch lift; I'll have to give that ReadyLift a serious look.

BTW; perfect color choice too!

Edit: I checked the ReadyLift site and could not find a 3-inch front lift for the 2009-2012 4x4 trucks (only listed 2" for 4wd and 3" for 2wd). Do you have a part number by any chance? Thanks.

I just notice what a vast improvement to the 2012 FX4 decal compared to the 2011.

Wow...wonder why ReadyLift won't list it as working for 4WD unless your shop had to do other mods? You might have to let ReadyLift know that their kit works....lol.

Again, nice job!

Mean looking rig. Do you ever have problems with the cops because the front tints are too dark? I am getting my 2012 tomorrow and already have an appointment next week to have the front windows tinted...

I personally never had any problems with cops for tint, but i know a couple people who have. Its the officers discretion on wether its too dark, all i know is that they have to be able to tell if its a male or female driver.

Again, nice job!
No other mods had to be done, just cutting the front bumper plastic to allow turning clearence, but it still rubs slightly at full lock. Thats a good idea, just sent them an email with pictures.

That's not bad if that is all you had to do to fit the 35s.

Looks nice... Especially with the side stripes removed.

If that truck in the background is also yours, pull the FX4 decals on the back and do a set of 'Snap-On Edition' decals :-) The white/red trim is a pretty close match already!

Why do they need to be able to tell if the driver is male or female?

No... How is that trolling? The OP brought up an issue regarding tint and potential problems with police. His/her statement confused me because I've never heard of it and not sure why it would matter to cops, so I asked him/her about it. And while I only have 165 posts on this forum apparently, I'm very active on the other F150 forum with over 1,500+ posts so I'm certainly not a troll

Being able to tell if the driver is male or female is just an element to show if a tint is too dark. But a tint meter will give an exact percentage, but what's illegal will vary by state.
