Anybody else notice this??

I've got a 12' EBoost, 4X4, Lariat on order that hopefully will be here in a week or so?? Hopefully. Anyway, I'm looking at the window sticker and its shows the the 'off-road' package that I ordered there, which should come with LT245/65/18's per what the Ford website states. But, also on the sticker, in the 'optional equipment' section (same place as where the off-road package is listed) it shows P275/65/18's?? I hope I'm getting the more aggressive tire vs. the passenger/highway tire? Anyone else see this same issue? has anyone got one delivered yet with off-road package & passenger tires?
Is the window sticker 100% accurate?

Every tire offered from the manufacturer (raptor excluded) is a passenger/highway tire.

the 4x4 offroad package includes those tires.

Yes, he is serious and he is correct. This was originally posted in the Ford Build Tracking forum where he provides this site with his tracking services. I spotted it and moved it to the correct forum.

Can you please keep chit chat to a minimum. This is a tech section not general discussion.

Ok, sorry for the wrong forum. Back to the tires now, 06yz250f, are you saying that all new trucks come with 'P' passenger rated tires? Not 'LT' light truck tires? Because the off-road package says LT 265/18's.

I'm talking about aggressiveness that you mentioned. Yes their LT tires, if you go offroad at all don't expect anything too special about the stock tires.

Bluejay, thanks for moving it.

I have 31 active tracking request on the go here. Trying to get everyone the updates they would like from me is getting more difficult and time consuming as the number of requests increase.

Finding them all from the list takes a bit longer now ( getting more requests), without having to sift through threads that have nothing to do with vehicle tracking.

In the end, it's up to you guys as to what you want the tracking forum to be.

If you want to plug it up with non-vehicle tracking threads, go for it.
The frequency of updates wouldn't stay the same.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say, Usually the LT is a little beefer tire other than the Passenger one. If I'm paying for the off-road package I want to make sure I get everything. It kind of bothered me that the sticker says something different? Just wanted to know if anyone else had ran into this at all. Thanks.

Satchan, I'll gladly stay off the build site in order for you to operate as smooth as possible. I think those requests are important and a lot of folks appreciate your time & effort, including myself, say no more, we'll keep the chatter in the right thread. Thanks.

on your window sticker what ever is on the left are "base" options, the 4x4 offroad package, and what ever options you have added go into the right category so that's why you are seeing 2 different tire sizes on the sticker. You upgraded in the right category so that is what you will be getting.

It looks to me, based on the Ford 2012 Ordering Guide, that you will get P-metric tires with the off road package. My buddy's XLT has the off-road and that's what he has. The guide mentions T8C code for LT tires as an option. You will likely get wimpy Goodyear SRA's unless you order T8C.

My '09 FX4 came with 275x65x18 Good Year Wrangler GSA. For around $250.00 I could have upgraded to Wrangler AT/S which is a LT tire.

My understanding is the "upgraded" LT tire is bumping you to a C or 6-ply tire versus the P or 4 ply. I have stock P rated 18" BFG tires in the garage that have the same number of ply's and construction as my 10 ply General snow tires. Not all tires are built equally I guess.
