ran into a guy locally wanting to swap rims and tires. he has 20" matte black xd rockstars on some 33" mud tires. rims and tires are about 3 months old with about 1000 miles on them and he wants to do an even swap. im usually all about black rims but i also like the look i have with the stock too, so im torn between decisions. what do yall think?

 

What wheels do you have on your truck currently? Stock 20"s or what? What shape are your tires in? Got pictures of your truck?

 

yes i have pics in my album, plus ive posted everywhere. got the tires prolly 2-3 months ago as well. 305/55/20 terra grapplers on 2010 oem 20s

 

 

You may not like the ride with mud tires. I would consider just a rim swap, but thats just me. Keep your tire and sensers. Plus your tires would probably last longer then mud tires would.

 

Imo it would look good either way. But I agree with the above, that you may regret the ride choice compared to what you have, as well as the mileage. I love how my Toyo Mt's ride, but you may not find it as nice if that is what you would get.

Good looking truck, not too sure about the fx4 tiger edition bit though, looks a little tacky on such a nice truck. Just my 2 cents, and thats not just cuz its LSU.

 

I'd keep what you got, truck looks good as is and rockstars will kill it IMO especially with your fx2 sticker.

 

i appreciate everyones comments (except the LSU one Barrett lol) and is kinda what i was thinking. i would rather just do a rim swap but then i wouldnt like all my lsu stuff on it. i might just stick with what i was thinking before, "if i change my rims at all, it'll be for the 2011 stock grey 20s"
