need extra key & fob

I am down to one set of keys and fob,beside ford whats the cheapest way to get both.
I seen the remote FOB on ebay from $2.98 to 23.99 but how do you program them or do they come programmed

You need two admin keys to program any other keys and fobs by yourself, its cheap and easy to do a third key. But since you only have one you have to take it to the dealer to be programmed. You might save some money if you buy the key fob elsewhere and bring it to them rather then purchasing it through the dealer.

I would recommend to everyone to make a third admin key and fob to prevent having to go to the dealer if you loose one.

I'm pretty sure you will have to go to to the dealer.

Go to a qualified locksmith they will do everything for a third of the cost of a dealership.

i bought a 2008 and after all the dealing and paper work the guy gives.me the key i.ask for the other one and he tells.me thats all he has was to good.of a deal to push the issue i went to ace true value and they made a key for 59 bucks
