Does anybody know if the stock sub that is under the rear seat is removable in case you want the entire back floor to be flat?

 

yup it is, i took mine out to see if i could put in a bigger amp but decided against messing with it after i pulled it out. after i did pull the sub out i did notice the bolts go all the way through the cab for some reason tho, so you'll have to get a rubber plug or something i would imagine to seal up where the bolts were (or replace with smaller bolts)...the bolts were torqued down pretty good from what I remember but they will come out. good luck!

 

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. Is the factory sony sub worth the extra money to get a little better sound of the stock system? I'm no audiophile, but do know the stock system leave a little to be desired. Is the wiring of the quick disconnect variety?

Um no I was actually serious since I have the Sony system and think it's great.Why?you don't like it?

 

it's crap compared to other set ups. If it was the base system in the trucks no big deal, but the fact we have to pay xx amount of dollars for it, your better off if ordering a truck getting the base set up and upgrading yourself.

The audiophile in the 04-08's was much cleaner sounding set up.
