Pirelli tires, check your sidewalls

Just a little reminder. I installed rugged liners 2 weeks ago and noticed my Pirelli ATR Scorpions 20's were cracking right at the bead on all 4 tires. I went down to the dealer and the best he could do was to replace all 4 and I would be billed $380.00 for the set, and I had to get Pirelli again. I got them installed yesterday. I have 15,500 miles on the truck, according to Ford, 60% of replacement cost is what they will give you. My tires were measured @ 10/32. Pirelli said thats 75% reimbursement. So watch your tires. If you see any cracking before 12,000 miles you are in the 100% reimbursement range. After that you go from 60%, 12,000-24,000 and downward after that. Just a word to the wise. Check these tires weekly!

I noticed mine were cracking when I read other thread. I planned to get them replaced, then sell the new Pirellis to cover part of the cost of some Nittos. Unfortunately, I waited too long and had too much mileage/wear to get any reimbursement.

What's not clear in the other thread is exactly which tire models (and sizes) are affected. I see a lot of 20" mentioned, but what about other size Pirelli's?

I'm curious as to what mileage people are noticing this...the earliest that is? I only have 600 miles on my new truck and have not noticed any problems with the tires...YET??
