Funtional Ram Air Hood

Was thinking of something to do to the truck and was toying with the idea of a ram air hood. Anybody have any opinions if it would be beneficial power wise or any comments on pros or cons of having one?

Found these guys, seem a little pricey but it's only money right?

I can't see how any additional air going into the engine bay would increase the performance on a stock truck. However they look badass and I say go for it just on the looks.

The air just does not go into the engine bay. It is directed into a custom air box for the intake.

I don't think a 2010 needs a tuner for a regular aftermarket intake, but considering this one will be providing a bit of pressure at highway speeds, I would figure in the cost of a custom tune as well.

(Actually I have figured all that in, just have to get the money together)

IMO I think they make the truck look more mean, I like them. That hood is some money though. There are a few more options...

I was thinking of doing the same thing on my truck. Let me know what you decide to go with.

I really like the one on E-Bay but it says they don't ship to Canada. I'm wondering how I could get it to BC. Does anyone have any suggestions?
