Hey guys.

I just got my AMP steps in the mail today. I installed them this afternoon. I went to put the fuse into the holder and only the passenger steps went up.

My drivers side step will not go up. I shorted out the wires back to the control module so I know the wires are good. I can get power to the front driver door but it will stay at 12v whether the door is open or shut?? It is not switching on/off

The rear driver door will switch the power on/off though?

Has anyone had this happen?

Any help would be great.

They were installed on a 2010 F150 Supercrew

When I installed my amp steps I found like 4 wires on the drivers side the right colour scheme. I found the front drivers door wire quite far back, it was behind the front seat contrary to amps instructions

 

I tapped into the wrong wire! Got it all sorted out!

You need to Green wire with purple not the purple wire with green!

They work excellent!
