Hey all,

New to the board. Finally traded my 3rd Lightning for a 2011 FX2 SCrew Ecoboost. Im loving it so far. I had a few questions...is there supposed to be a tray inside the console? The factory console is deep with no divider, no top tray, nothing. Also, are they supposed to include the rear floor mats on the FX2s? Mine are missing...

My 2010 FX4 has a small tray that sits on top... it holds change and small stuff. And yes you should have rear floormats. The FX4 has rubber ones. I would go back to the dealer and get your mats, or rather get the one big mat they are missing!

IIRC, the fx2 has carpet mats and the fx4 comes with rubber.

 

The tray in the console, is that just for the Fx2 or is it supposed to be in the XLT as well. Mine is just a great big cavern, no interior tray. I have the captains chairs with the larger console.

 

I think it's just for trucks that have the console shifter.

that's where i stick my parents dog on trips. i throw her little sleeping sack in there she crawls right in and passes out

 

I have a '11 FX2 too. I had a little tray in the console and floor mats all the way around.

I have a 2nd set of floor mats from my '09 XLT that I'm willing to part with. I took them out when it was new because I bought a set of WeatherTech rubber mats. Let me know if you're interested.

 

First congrats on the FX2 and the EB. I'm biased of course because that's what I have too but it's a great combo

Yes you should have a divider or top tray in the center console on the FX2. The carpet mats you get will say FX on the front but are just plain black carpet on the back with no logo or anything on them.

 

I wonder if somebody stole them from the truck while it was sitting on the dealer lot? Either way, I would go demand the tray and mat.

 

I went back yesterday; got all the stuff I needed with no hassle. +1 for Mullinax Ford in Apopka, FL.
