Anyone running a glasspack on 09-10 f150 with a 5.4? How would it sound compared to straight pipes

Straight pipes don't sound that great on the 5.4 IMO. Glass packs won't be that much better.

Are you just going for obnoxious loud or a good sound?

By straight pipe do you mean no muffler or no muffler and no cats?

I had straight pipes up into this past weekend. I had just had a y pipe installed after the cats. It was loud but it was just too raspy sounding to me. I put on a 12 inch glasspack this past weekend and it pretty much sounds like a slightly muffled version of straight pipes which is just right to me now

I have never been a glasspack fan after they break in, I like how they sound until the glass comes apart and your left with an empty eco chamber. You can hear my straights in my sig, different model year but should still sound the same because my 05 only came with 2 cats.
