If you have black interior can you tell me what color your headliner and visor is black or grey?

I ordered a visor from a internet OEM Ford dealer with the garage door opener. I get it on Friday and it's wrong. I get two grey visors, supposed to be Charcoal. I have been trying to get in touch with them since Friday and only got them on the phone until today. I had emails about a mirror with someone, asked them to call me due to this error, no contact. Basically they want to talk when they want to make money, not when they need to rectify a problem...

Not to mention apparently someone who ordered off eBay is waiting for their order and I've got it. Packaging has a sticker with the person's name and eBay order number.The PN# on the box is correct as well so it could be Ford's fault. There are listings for Charcoal, Grey, and Adobe. Charcoal is Black, correct?? Ford had to of sent them the wrong thing but still sad they didn't check. Sucks as well because none the less is that other person is out their visor it's also the wrong color probably. Hopefully the place realizes and returns it so they don't have to wait even longer.

Very disappointed in this place right now.

 

Yes they should be dark gray (charcoal?). Not quite as dark as true black.

 

But black as my current headliner and visors. Correct?

there is no way that our head liner and visors can be considered charcoal.

what are you trying to do with a new visor? homelink?

Yes add the OEM garage door opener. It's not Homelink anymore, their contract expired with Homelink and they went with someone else. Forget the new mfg's name.

Don't tell me to buy the Homelink module. I did and I got a bad one from the seller and they told me to pound sand. So I just want to get the OEM part, plug it in, and be done with it.

 

did it not have power or just not work on your garage? if it didn't work on your garage did you buy a rolling code or non rolling code one.

 

It just didn't power on. It was a rolling code opener for a rolling code garage door opener.

 

Is there anyone here with a 2011 Harley Davidson, Limited, etc any vehicle that came from the factory with the garage door opener in this color? Would you be willing to give me your VIN# so I can just give it to the dealer that way. Fed up of this..

Just for reference, this is the color that I received.

 

Forget it. I found a truck online for sale that had the garage door opener and was able to 'steal' that VIN number, also had a picture of exactly what I needed.

 

It looks like that pic has bi-lingual information decals on it. I would be surprised if a US truck had any language decals other than English. If you give them a Canadian VIN, the visor will have English/French decals. I'm guessing if you give a Mexican VIN you will get Spanish or English/Spanish decals. If the same information in two different languages above your head doesn't bother you, then dis-regard. I wish I had no idiot stickers on mine, but the fewer and smaller the better IMHO.

 

I don't think so. Although they can be removed with an iron and patience.

I went to the dealership looking for black interior paint for my FX4. They told me the color is Charcoal Black. Then they told me the bad news. They discontinued their interior paints and can no longer get it.
