Just wondering how many Km's (or miles) people are getting on a fill? How accurate is the "km's until empty" gage? I just got my truck yesterday (2011 FX4 5.0) and it was filled at the dealership. The gage said I had 877 km's until empty but it seems to be dropping quickly. How many km's are you guys getting on a fill-up (and what engine do you have)?

 

Remember the truck adjusts itself for what ever the previous average MPG was. I've made it from denton to houston (260 miles) with my truck saying 150 to empty.

The low fuel light is a tricky little bastard on the new trucks. I have had it come on at 36 miles to empty and 65 miles to empty so i think it goes off how much fuel is in the tank and what your average read out is.

 

The gage says 877, don't get your hopes too high, likely need to fill at 677, mixed hwy and city driving. FS
